J. V'nese was established from a dream that was given to me when I was a little girl just giving manicures and pedicures at the age of 12. An idea of having a place for people to come and be pampered in private for an affordable price. The idea initially started with me just doing hair and it became my business name. It then grew into something more when I noticed people drew to me for various reasons, energy, beliefs, and personality. Then I thought...I got it! This will be a place for young ladies and women looking for affordable protective styles. Specializing in natural hair I will help them transition to the new natural with class, style and care. As the years went by, more and more ideas came and I added it to the list of possibilities and opportunities in order to create some direction for the business.

Ironically, I realized there is something greater in me. Something God has selected me to share with the world. God has blessed me with many talents which I choose to hide for fear of being judged negatively or discouraged. The thought was if people do not know then I do not have to work around or juggle their feelings and emotions. It just seemed easier. However, it was/is not! I always kept this burning desire to create, build and encourage others through different resources, skills, experience, and engagement. The challenge was getting over the walls I built up for myself as protection.

I am J. V'nese (pronounced Jay Va-Niece). I have no limits or barriers or tasks that can not be completed. I choose to be who God create me to be, Unapologictally, because I am made in his image and he chooses to bless me with the gifts and the expection to share what he has done in my life.
